Knowing Your State!
Each state in the U.S. has its own individual manual outlining any requirements to obtaining your Class-A CDL. All of the material in each manual is based upon work supported by the FMCSA. Because of this, it is important that you, as the driver, are well aware of the requirements and regulations set fourth on obtaining your license. This is especially important when changing your state of residence as most companies will require that your license is from the state in which you reside. Problems almost always occur from having multiple licenses in multiple states and/or having a license in the wrong state. Don't be that driver; know your stuff!
All of the states listed below have downloadable PDF versions of the manual. All are located on each respective states' '.gov' website.
